Noticed the 8n blowning water out the overflow a lot more than normal today while weed spraying.
I built a 3pt boom sprayer, fed with an electric pump. Ran it for about an hour at idle in 1st gear. I put on a new water pump about 6 months ago, new aluminum radiator/cap/hoses with factory fan and fan shroud about 3 months ago. I have it set to idle at 350RPM.
When dragging or plowing at 1,000+RPM, I haven't had any issues. Only started today with the extended idle time.
I was thinking it might be a lack of airflow at the low RPM, and switching to an electric fan would help that. But then I also wonder if the water pump can effectively move water at that speed too?
