Carb wouldn't work without them so I suspect you mean the kit was lacking them. That is normal. The venturii and throttle plate are parts that can be used over and over unless something is drastically wrong with them. I clean them up nice and shiny and on the plate, I remove any burrs on the edge and file gently flat. They are brass originally but some new aftermarket ones use a plastic venturii and a tin plate. I won't use either and I have a collection of OEM used parts I can select from if I need one. Avoid the bargain priced carb kits as they contain very few parts. I use the TISCO C546V carb kit. It has all the essential parts needed and the plate and venturii are sold separately. Quality





suppliers also sell each carb part individually. I also use Marc's Carbs (see LINK) on ebay - he has the throttle plate and his venturii is brass and sold separately. If you need help, my email is open and I rebuild Marvel-Schebler carbs to perfection -guaranteed to operate as original.

Thanks Tim, I think I accidentally threw the Venturi away and the plates were destroyed removing them from the old carb. But thanks to Royse Ive got the parts I need, now I just have to get it back together.
