The hub with the leaking seal came right off.
The seal not leaking is seized on the axle.
It took me two days to remove the brake drum and now hub is being a pain.
Hub puller to rent is 60 miles away and 4 trips will be costly. Buying one online and delivered is 20% cheaper.

That's why that side is leaking

Nice & tight (I assume you're talking about the hub).

Seen a few heavy duty pullers lose the battle against 8N hubs (damaged one beyond repair myself, and not a cheap chinese one).

May be too late for you now, but the easiest way to loosen up a stuck hub is to do it while the tractor is still all together. Loosen the big nut a few turns and drive around until it breaks free.

Lots of penetrating oil and heat. If it
still doesn't come off, I'd cut and replace
if you can find one. I reccomended this
stuff to another fella. I've used this
stuff at coal plants and a paper mill on
some seriously corroded flange bolts and
they broke free after sitting long enough!

If you're going to rent or buy the old style you can hit with a hammer works the best if I remember correctly

I've got one of these, don't use it much but when you need it there's nothing comes close.

NAPA still sells that type of puller.

It's a Carlyle tool. My father had one in his service station. I remember that it never failed at pulling anything we used it on (never tried it on any tractor or semi).
