I have a 2N that has a small oil leak where the oil filler tube goes into the block . Is there some kind of seal that goes there to stop this ?

No. It's a press fit.

Permatex makes a gas tank sealer putty that should work without cementing the filler tube to the block like JB WELD would

What Bruce said goes best; I wouldn't use tape, paper, plastic, or rubber or anything that may break off and end up in the system. You might want to check the breather cap for dirt and/or obstructions and clean in a solvent. There are OEM-style breather caps available -SEE LINK -if you need a new one.

Thanks Guys . I will clean the cap good and watch for leaks . If it still leaks , I will replace the cap . If it still leaks , I will try the Permatex .
Thanks again
