Ok, please speak simply if you reply. I?m a newby
and this is all new to me. I recently acquired a ?50
8N. It starts. It?s runs. The previous owner has had it
for 3 generations and the tractor has had little to no
TLC or even significant maintenance in decades.
One thing I was warned about was a leaky radiator.
I found it beat all to heck and spot repaired dozens
of times. My solution was a new radiator and hoses.
When I removed the old radiator upper hose a LOT
of thick, gray, oil (?) poured out of it. What?s up with
that? Am I still good to put the new radiator and
hoses on or is this evidence of something
catastrophic?
