VAC-14 Battery Cables

The next thing I need to do to my VAC is install heavier
battery cables. System is still 6V, but battery cables are
about the size of a slightly fat pencil. As is, summer starts
are questionable with a good battery.

What size would be best, 00?

Doesn't matter what brand it is, a 6V system needs heavy cables.
0 or 00 would be best. Depending on your climate, you may get by
with a 2 gauge. The braided ground cables are normally 2 gauge.

Glen,Yes 00 would be the best bet.Any semi truck repair shops near you,they will have the heavy 00 cable and ends to mace up a couple new ones for you.Take your old ones with you to match up length and ends needed.
