What do you guys think the paint codes are for this little tractor. Most of you know the codes off the top.
Thanks

Yeah, I'll probably aggravate the purist, but I don't want a Gray tractor, I want a red belly tractor.

bleep the purists. i have a red belly 2N, it's an extra three horsepower ;)

sorry, i didn't paint it, so i have no codes.

I just noticed you referenced an 8N in your
link when your question was about a 2N is
all.
For the record, I'm no purist. I don't care
if you want to build a tractor like the one
below. Dont care about color or if you have
a sidemount 9N. I have a later Ford that is
very wrong. Wrong engine, wrong tin,
fenders, steering, front axle, oil pan,
bolster, tires, running boards, electrics -
all wrong.
I'm building another tractor here from parts
from several different models.
It's one of the reasons I like the newer
Fords. They made so many configurations of
the same model - Ag, Utility, Industrial,
Row Crop. They built them in 3 different
countries with different options. It's fun
to play mix and match. With a bit of
ingenuity everything will bolt together.
Make it exactly how you want.
Golden 9N

Ford Medium Gray and Vermillion Red as mentioned.
That "medium gray" is one of the strangest colors out there.
In the right light it looks green, sometimes tan, other times gray.

This is my Jubilee I painted those colors.
It looks green under fluorescent lighting.
If you'd like to see before and afters, here's a link to a [b:7099a488b5]slideshow.[/b:7099a488b5]

 i can't fault that motivation. truth be told, gary, if i knew how to paint and weren't one of the laziest people on earth, i would pick something unique too. in a perfect world, i'd know an artisan that could hand paint Hoyt Clagwell on it :D

seriously, i have nothing against the normal colors, but hey - i can see those anywhere :)

that [i:35bf804350]is[/i:35bf804350] strange - strange enough that even my colorblind eyes see it.

I never could determine for sure, but I think it was electrical.
I bought it already burnt from a friend of mine. We named it Krispy.
