Can anyone provide information on how many ZASI military tractors might be in the US? What implements were available for them? How can I find manuals for the implements? Thank you

According to the Peterson & Beemer book on MM Farm Tractors, ZASI tractors were made in 1952 only, serial numbers had 046 prefix but no further info is available. Engine serial numbers have 051 prefix and range from 05100001 to 05100515 seeming to indicate 515 units. Pintle hook drawbar seems to rule out specific implements as they were apparently intended specifically for towing.

Thank you for the reply. I have 2 ZASI-M tractors that have data plates with a manufacture date of 6/23/1951. I also have an Air Force trailer chassis and a ZASI loader that is on one of the ZASI-M tractors. The 064 beginning serial number for the tractors is correct. Any information on either the Air Force trailer chassis or Baker-Lull ZASI (hopefully a manual for either one) would be appreciated.

Have not seen a ZASI with a loader myself, I assume they are not common. One possibility you could try is the Floyd County Museum in Charles City, IA. They are said to have a large collection of donated manuals and sell reprints at reasonable cost.

Thank you! I have received copies of some manuals before. This is one I'll need to make a trip to the Floyd County Museum for.
