Whats a UTE, it's a 1952, It's Melvin Adolph's,he is haveing a timed online auction, with Steffes auction service?

UTE is U Tractor adjustablE wide front. UTU is tricycle front, UTN is single front wheel, and UTS is wide front non-adjustable.

UTE is fairly rare tractor. Only 300 made, most in 1952. Same front end as RTE and ZTE/ZAE.
HAs a 043 serial prefix.

Not mine, but one I found online.

Nice tractor Rich,my first tractor was a U like that but LP Gas, with a 4 row front mount corn cultivator, so was mine a UTE then also ? Maybe my front end didn't stick out that much but it was adjustable of course!

Probably an add on front end used on many U and UB. Made by Norden or Schwartz and was a tube adjustable axle. The E is channel iron.

Mine was like the one in the picture, i suppose they sat out in front a little was so there was room, for the corn cultivator would fit and operate, the corn cultivator was on it the day i bought it on a auction sale, that was in the spring of 1965.

That's my UTE. Actually a 1952 UTU by serial number, but someone must have switched it at one point. Picture was taken at Le Sueur pioneer power show several years ago.

Chris, I just found that photo on the net. Didn't realize it was yours. Hope it was OK.
