Power Steering

I did about and hour and a half job of mowing on my 8N with the Woods M5 mower on it yesterday. Every thing went fine but I sure figured out how much I missed that power steering on my MF202.

The mower will not hook up on the 202 without cutting down it's drive shaft. Guess I should get that fixed. But then the poor old 202 would be doing all the work and the 8N would just be sitting there sleeping. Both tractors have FEL's on them.

At least I got almost 20 years of work out of the 8N before I got the MF202. That 8N served me just fine. :D

I guess I should relinquish my handle to you since I have more than 2. I can't imagine mowing with fel aboard much less with the pto pushing you forward with bucket blocking vision. At least your arm muscles
are getting a workout. Had to cut my neighbors off to fit his JD, not a big deal.

I use an ORC on the mower shaft. But, I've been using that mower with the ORC on the 8N and have never experienced any "pushing forward" from the mower shaft. There was two or three years when I first got the 8N that I didn't use an ORC, mainly because I didn't know anything about them. Even then I experienced no "pushing forward".
