MF 65 transmission input shaft seals

My bell housing was full of transmission oil when I pulled it apart to replace the clutch. I had 90W coming out of the starter. Im trying to remove the input retainer housing to get to the seals but cannot get it off by just removing the four bolts. Something is keeping it from coming off. Do I have to dig deeper into the transmission to remove it?

NOTE NOT ALL MF 6 speeds are designed the same....
On this 6 speed, I had to remove the bottom shaft out the rear / AFT to allow DRIVE GEAR to drop down far enough..

I'm NOT a trained MF Technician..
I just happened to have a 6 speed that I had to totally dismantle R/R

.

I used this series to strip and rebuild my TO35 transmission. There were a few differences from this but they were easy to figure out.

Video at getting to the front seals. You need to drop one of the large gears inside the transmission by removing the lower shaft so the gear can fall and then pull the sub-system with the seals in it out. It's not an 'in tractor' job. Bundy Bears youtube channel

This should show the whole series and start on video #48 of the rebuild from Bundy Bears youtube channel.
