I have a M-F 165 Diesel w/multi power S/N: SDW 643001 092. I would like some information on adding an additional hydraulic cylinder. What I have in mind is to add a push-pull hydraulic cylinder in place of the screw adjustment lift link. My reason? I am losing the ability to make the cranking motion needed to raise or lower the link, due to sever arthritis in my right hand and arm. But I still need to be able to make the adjustments. Thanks!

I've made up a couple. All you need is a double action cylinder and a control valve. Get a 2 inch Id cylinder with the throw you need. Probably can use a 1 1/2 inch too. I think mine has 8 inch stroke.

Thanks. I mostly will use the setup for a 7ft grader blade. I think the max adjustment I've made was about 9" when blade is angled.

The picture idea is great. Why I didn't think of it I'll relate to an old brain. Thanks!
