Trying to start a 205 MF

My Daughters got a 205 Mf. its sat for years. Now she wants to get it running. First off, the starter is froze up. I took it to a auto electric place and they will let me know what im looking at to get it fixed. We tried to pull start it but no go. The fuel has been in there also for years. She will drain it and replace the fuel. The glow plug light, (so far) is missing from the dash. Ill pull the upper cowling off to see what the wires look like behind the dash when it warms up. Any thoughts appreciated. It did run years ago.

Which 205? Did you get any smoke when you tried to start it? Did you bleed it all the way through the injectors? Did you change the fuel filter(s)? Possible the injection pump is gummed up from setting. If it is an electric shut off, is it opening, or if mechanical shutoff, do you have it the right way? Another thought is rings or valves stuck and compression is down. Just some thoughts.
 
Think it must be the import. Real 205's Made by MF didn't have glow plugs. They had the starting aid that put fuel into the intake and ignited it.
 
Thanks guys, especially Jim. I put a socket on the crank nut, and turned it. I don't know hoqw much comp it should have, but it had SOME.
What is the difference between a electrical shutoff and a mechanical shutoff?
