I was able to get the lift cover back on today. Had to do it alone with my backhoe, but it looks right. I re-installed the roller. After refilling with fluid and starting it up, I did a test run around the yard. It runs in all gears. Now, the lift won't work. I apparently missed something. Where do I start looking?

Yes it has two bolts to remove plate. Pipe has o-ring on top
and bottom. Hard to line up but you will know when it?s in
place when replacing pipe

Take the side cover off by your right foot and you can see when it is in place on the pump
Yes it can, I've done it more than once - but it's a bit 'touchy feely' locating the bottom end in the right place through the top
cover. You don't have to drop the oil level that way, and you'll know when you've got it right - you can feel the 'o' ring popping
into place. Have patience and work at it carefully! Good Luck! Jim
