I have a TO 35 and I have a oil filter question,
I know you high dollar MF boys have spin on/off filters, but some of the first MF 135 still have old school canister oil filters,
I have trouble each oil change getting the oil filter out of the canister, I use Napa gold filters 1010
This weekend I change oil
I clamped the oil canister bolt head in my vise, then pulled twisted turned trying to pull the filter out of the canister,
It finally came out,but so did the spring and flat washer,
Lost the flat washer,
Just put spring back in and installed canister,
As I started to put oil drain plug back in, guess what, the flat washer was laying below on the floor,
So I took the canister off again and installed the flat washer
In this order: spring flat washer filter
Changing the filter in that canister is a real pain, I can understand why they went to spin on filters,
Oh well I got the job done for another year,
