MF 165 diesel won't start

My 165 won't start after setting over Winter. The injector pump was rebuilt last Fall and the tractor was used several times after the pump was replaced. I changed fuel filters and cleaned the sediment bulb at that time. I have reprimed the system and have fuel at both bleeder screws on the pump but no fuel coming out to the injector lines. I suspicion the metering valve is stuck. Is there any way to get the valve unstuck without taking the pump back off?
Thanks for any suggestions that anyone may have.

Any traces of water in the fuel ever? Or biodiesel? If so the pump rotor plungers are most likely stuck along with the metering valve. Been seeing a lot more of that lately.

I have been using biodiesel, seems to be all that is available around here. I am guessing the pump needs to go back to the diesel repair shop. The tractor has a loader on it so it is not easy to take the pump off. Is there anything I can do next Winter so the valve/plungers don't stick again?

Biodiesel is OK when the engine is used often, but it's not wise to use it in engines that set a lot with little use. I've had some luck with adding some two cycle oil, but I think you would be better off trying to find another fuel source, or use it more. If water/condensation is a problem it's best to keep the tank full. When you see a fuel tank "sweat" on the outside at 1/4 to 1/2 full, remember there's moisture on the inside walls too.

As a last resort before taking the pump off again, I blew air back through the pump where the injector lines come out. Then rebled the system and it started. The air must have been enough to move the plungers or the metering valve.
