Just installed a new 11 inch dual clutch in a MF235 with an AD3 152 Perkins diesal. The shop manual spec is 3.250-3.280 from top of srew to inner lip of flywheel. What is considered the inner lip of flywheel? I have seen pictures on the net of a gauging tool that rest on what massey calls the air ring and bridges the adjusting screws. Does anyone no what the distance from that air ring to the adjusting screws is so I can make up a tool? I made one at the 3.250 spec but the gap is not within the range of the adjustment srews,by about a half inch. Thanks

This is how I set them. Adjust all three of the screws in the clutch fingers so there are 2 threads sticking out below the thickest part of the finger. Then using a ruler, measure from a flat spot on the PTO clutch disc the distance to the top of the head of one of the screws, then adjust the other two to the same height.
