MF 202 forklift

I've aquired a 202 with forklift attachment. Whole machine works great. I'm trying to identify a few oil leaks. First, on the dipstick side of engine there is a small plug that can be removed toward the clutch housing, when engine runs, oil runs out from around this plug pretty good. Second, oil leaks out clutch bushings. Not familiar with MF and what is happening here. Like some comments.

Yes, the cover plate can be removed. The clutch area above should be dry, but oil will come out IF there are any leaks. With the cover off you may be able to see where leaks are from.

I will check into it first thing. Also, do you have a recommendation for a manual? I'd like to get one.

removed the cover plate. Was not expecting oil of about 1 qt to come out. I now see how it looks inside. I expect rear main seal leaking. Smelled like motor oil, looks like motor oil.

if your 202 is like mine was, there should be 1 or 2 drain holes on very underside of the transmission casting with big cotter pins turning loosely in the holes, these are to kinda keep any oil leaks from contaminating the clutch disc

scratch around under there for them

sometimes the pins get torn off and the holes fill with mud

sometimes sellers remove the pins and plug the holes to conceal a leaky rear main seal

on a Continental, replacing the rear main seal involves splitting the unit and also dropping the oil pan
