Sway blocks for 420w

The back blade on my John deere 420w slops back and forth sideways when i am using it while backing up. I just got it so I don't know what is missing. I am guessing sway blocks are missing. But I can't find any to buy. I would even like a good picture of them on a 420w so that maybe I can make a pair.
If anyone out there could help me out with information or pictures. I would very much appreciate the help. thank you

Our club has a 420U with the same issue. Sway chains came from the factory but don't really do the job. We modified a set of Ford sway links(?) to fit it and it works
really well.

The Ford/Fergurson tractors of that era used flat bars to run from the axle pivot point to the opposite side of the
drawbar. These bars had slots in them so they could be telescoped to fit the particular tractor. I use a set of
these bars and it is a perfect solution to the sway problem.

My 430 came with a U shaped contraption, the center went over the drawbar and sides hooked on lower draft pins. It was what JD used as a sway prohibiter and added later. It was really cumbersome to use so I modified the steel sway bars as used on Ford. Tractor ends went to pins inside the ones the draft links hook to. I don't think that setup will work on the W because the rear end is different.

I made these from a short 10 inch piece of 2x2 angle iron attached with one bolt. Simple to make and install and work great.
