what model john deere plow do you have, had or used?
my dad had a 810s 4 bottom plow he pulled with a 730diesed
and a john deere rope trip 2/16 he pulled with his 520

whats about you?
thanks

I have a 3 and 4 bottom F145 semi mounted and a F125 3 bottom mounted. I have used the 2520 diesel with the three bottoms in the spring but for summer (harder plowing) use one of the 4020's. Tom

I have had several model 4B plows 2-14", a #51 a #52, a #66, a #55H and a #4A. Mostly used the 4B and oh, yes a #44 behind my A or B tractors.

I think it is 634 on the 39h I don't remember the on on the LA I think it same number as the h. Then on the 39 l and 40l I don't remember. And on the unstyled 38 I have a cultivator on it. Back in the 70s we had IH one bottom and 2 oliver a two bottom and a three. I one day ask my dad why don't you have John deere plows and he said that the Oliver plows pull easyer. I don't know if that true or not the ones on these little tractors pull good an do a good job.

All of the three bottom pics are my 3x16 and I forgot the 812 2x14 that is on the B. The 812 3x14 is outside my barn where I added cover boards but never used last spring.

When a youngster, we plowed with a '37 JD D and a '46 JD D both with a model 55ABH 3-16 trip lift plow. When Dad traded the '37 for a new JD 730 diesel std, I built a hydraulic lift for one of the 55ABH plows. Currently have a 66 (I think) 4-16, a F620 4-14, a 55ABH 3-14 on hydraulic lift, a 55ABH on trip lift, a model 2B on steel (I think), 2-26, a 3pt model 2-16, not sure of the model, and an old 5-16 trip lift with a hydraulic conversion, maybe a 66 or 77???? which I have never used as it has a spindle on the land wheel broken. I have plowed with all these. I especially like the 3-16 behind my model R tractor. Also like the 55ABH on hydraulic behind my JD AR.

Let's see. I have a 4-14" pull plow, I forget the model right now. It's the cheaper model with the 4 bolt front hubs and chilled iron bearings in the tail wheel. It has Yetter curved coulters and no cover boards. It plows pretty good behind the 830. I have 2 F145 4-14" semi mounts. One has cover boards mounted and a gauge wheel, the other has cover board brackets, just haven't had time to install them. Then I have 2 666H pull plows. Both 5-16". The 830 works a little harder with these, so I prefer the 4-14 to make it's life easier in it's old age... Oddly enough the 730's (LP and diesel have no problems pulling the F145, but to be honest, I've never tried pulling the 4-14" pull plow with them. They're no longer weighted down. The 830 is only partially weighted at around 10,500ish lbs

I forget the model #'s but all I have right now are 1 bottom mounted plows for my model H and LA tractors.
I used the LA a few times and it works nice.

4 X 16 F145H. 2800 6 bottom on land hitch. There was a 44 around when I was little but never saw it used.

I have no idea what model either one of the 2 2 bottom plows I have. One came with my 1935 JD B that was my grand fathers and was a trip plow. The trip part of it broke years ago so it is out back in the junk yard. The other one looks to be the same model both on steel wheels

When I was younger I used to plow with a 4200 4-18 roll over plow on a 4230 which I still have. Plows are rarely used anymore here except for the local antique tractor plow day. Some of the other plows I have are: #55 3-14 trip plow, #44 2-14 hydraulic plow, #813 3-14 plow, #202 two way trip lift, #820 roll over plow set up for the 801 hitch, #825 roll over plow and a lindeman single bottom roll over plow that is specifically made for the ford N series or Ferguson TO tractors

The last plows we used were Deere 3200s---Tee

My Dad pulled 10-18's with his 8630

I pulled 6-18s with my 7020

Nice pictures big tee . To hear the yt keyboard farmers association tell it you were lucky you could do anything with with either of those tractors

I have several JD plows including an 810 3-14, a 55 3-14, a 66 4-14, and an F620 4-16 plow. The 55 is basically used to plow the garden. The 66 was pulled by my JD 830. Now I only used once in while on a nice day. My main plow now is my F620 which I pull with my JD 6110R. So my plowing is now done using a 50 year old plow pulled by a 2 year old JD. Al
