If you didn't see the first post on this subject it's:

When I bought this tractor several years ago I intended to "Americanize" it.
Now if I ever get around to it I intend to keep it original.
The factory tag is on the back as all the Waterloo tractors but there was a Mannheim
tag with the same number attached to the RH frame rail in front of the engine.
Back in the day we always wondered what the holes at the rear corners of the floor
boards were for. Now you can see.
Also the diff lock pedal is taller to clear the parking brake shaft.

Tom was right. These tractors were built at Waterloo and modified in Germany.
Headlights were on the front instead of on fenders. Wiring harnesses were different.
There was a round tag (about 8") on the front stating kilometers.
As with the diff lock on a '64 tractor other features were offered on tractors for the
European market before they were introduced in the states.
This tractor might have come from a dealer in Holland.

I will attach more pics and info in another post.

Does it have a pintal like hitch on the back where the top link bracket would mount? The two that I have seen both did. I forgot about the extra serial number tag on the side. Last one I saw was 20 years ago at a consignment auction. It was nice but I was short on funds and did not buy it. Greenspring tractor in Shippensburg PA parted one or two out 25 or so years ago. Not sure if any parts would be left. Tom

I think it had that hitch and I put it up somewhere. It's been a while
so I wouldn't be able to find it except by mistake.
I have a large hub steering wheel for a '39 H hiding somewhere. It was
one of those recapped ones and I have it painted in a box but can't
find it now that I'm trying to finish the tractor. Maybe the rats ate it!

That's right. I have a complete roll-around toolbox dedicated to new H parts.
I usually bought several of each item at a time and then couldn't find them
until I bought another. Now I can kind of keep up with them.

Correct. I'm not sure the axle housing was made specifically for
that purpose or had another use. I think I tried to trace the
casting number years ago. 4020 used the regular axle housing.

The 4020 had adapter plates looking like they were cut out with a torch.
