Leveling box

I am looking for any salvage yards where I can find a used leveling box for my 401b? To make an adjustment now I need to remove the side that is not adjustable, and screw it up or down. kind of hard to do. I know I may be buying some one else's problems buying used. I found a spare mower gear box, that turned out to be in great shape. Stuff like that will put you out of business for quite a while. Thanks also for the information on the load draft shaft seals. I have a real good idea now on how things go. I am saving that job until I get my mower in shape. Stan

There are several models that the same leveling device will fit. Have you disassembled yours to determine why it won't operate correctly?

There might also be new aftermarket ones available too.

I now have one that is adjustable, and one that that is only adjusted by removing the top pin and screwing it manually up or down. It's hard to get the pin back in if the holes don't align up just right.I just want to be able to adjust each side separately, by adding one to the other side, I can adjust with removing the pin.
