Any one see the prices on the john deere tractors today, can some one help with timing mark on 1929 D where is it on case? the aumann action pre 30

IIRC on the 1927 D I had there was not one on the case. It was something like align the mark up with the top edge of the main case. Not like the other newer 2 cyl. I have worked on.

On my 27 D the timing mark is on the flat steel cover for the front transmission cross shaft.

On my 29 D the timing mark is on the domed cover where the PTO would attach.

Thanks guys the dome cover is were you time it thanks the prices were pretty high for Deere tractors the 30404 is my dream tractor.
