Looking at a 2155 mfwd, price reasonable, looks to be well cared for, enough service records to think it was part of the family...only hitch is pto pops out (disengages) on its own now and then. Where do I start, want to fix it right, and once thanks
 
That is usually just an issue with the control valve/lever. It all is right there with the gear shifters.
 

Need to know which type pto tractor has(hyd ind or continuous dual stage clutch)? Is there a yellow knob protruding from cowling on LH side of steering wheel similar to photo. If so then I agree with JD seller and springs(key 28) or ball(key 22) detents may be at fault .

the pto is hyd independant (yellow knob). so it's new parts, springs and detent balls? as a start of course thanks
