John deere 60 carb help

First time poster, have several older tractor but this is driving me crazy

Bought a jd 60 this spring and it ran perfect till about two weeks ago. Tractor will start perfect on
low idle and run decent but as soon as I give it some throttle it dies. Put in New plugs, changed gas,
changed fuel filter, cleaned bowl, checked air oil bath and absolutely know it's not starved for gas.
Previous owner had carb boiled and cleaned before I bought it. Hate to tear into carb, and have made no
adjustments yet. Will not run any better with choke pulled out. If it was a valve it wouldn't run good
at low idle right?

I have a 60 also. About a year ago I got the carb rebuilt. You can't go wrong dealing with

I just went though all this with one of my 60s sent the carb to Popping John and that took care of it,sounds great now.

If you have the auto shut off fuel bowl the rubber on the plunger can stick to the top and not let enough fuel flow.
