JD A Planter Question

I was wondering if the powertrol on my 46 A would pick up a 7000 4 row planter? I've not tried it yet, wanted to make sure it would do it and not mess something up.

Depending on weather or not you have added WASHERS or a WASHER to the RELIEF valve and also depends on the RAM BORE size you use PS: Also depends on the LOAD the planter is CARING.

Had an uncle who ran a 7000 with a Minnie Mo U. If that would lift it, an A would too. Does your planter have fertilizer attachments? Those will make it heavier. A bigger diameter lift cylinder will help as well.

My A easily lifted a 6 row 30 7000 with standard seed boxes and without fertilizer with a 3" cylinder. The markers take more oomph than the lift cylinder.

I had more problem with the small diameter marker cylinders on low pressure hydraulics than the lift cylinders.
