Well, you guys were right, all 4 of the pushrod tubes on my 1935 JD B are completely rotted out.

I was planning on replacing them, until I called John Deere in town.....

$37.12 EACH PLUS SHIPPING?!?!?!?! Someone must have them cheaper than that?? Is there anything special about them? Can I just try to have some machined??!

I need to know some of your guys tricks of the trade!!

Also, does anyone know where I can find an ORIGINAL set of flat top fenders for a 35 B? Thanks, Bryce

Hi Bryce,
I made a set (2+1) for my 35A starting with 1/2" brass pipe nipples from Home Depot. I have a tired old machine lathe in my stuff so didn t have to farm the job out. I spoiled one by trying to tap it in place with a hammer. A short length of all-thread and nuts and washers works very well. A little sealer is a good idea also. Good luck. VH
