63 4000 diesel crank oil dipstick interference

I noticed the oil dipstick was backing out, so I pushed it back in with the tractor running and very clearly the crank is making contact with it. It was a wide blade replacement showing witness marks, so I found a 58 model that was correct (round wire with flattened end) but the problem persists. Rotating the dipstick does not solve the issue. I'm guessing that either the tube is damaged or missing in that area. From some pics I have found online, looks like the tube is fairly long and bends away from the crank, but so far not a ringer for 'it's supposed to look this way.' Anyone have a pic of a block with that tube? Would like to be prepared for when I drop the pan.

Maybe help?

(quoted from post at 04:56:09 06/05/23) That's the money shot I am looking for, but it looks like you have a 3cyl? Mine is a 4cyl.
If you look close you can just see the number one rod cap nut at the top of the block.
