FORD 4630 Starting Issue - fusible link gremlin?

My 1991 year model 4630 Ford won't start with the key as of late. My battery is good as well as both battery cables and my ignition switch. I can pull start the tractor and it runs great still. I do not get 12v at the starter switch wire nor does this wire have continuity... My OEM manual is vaque about this but does mention there is a fusible link in this wire but I do not know where as I can't find it. Is this the case and is it the likely issue or am I missing something? Tha is in advance for information.

If everything else works, it's not likely the fusible link, as generally there is only one for the entire system. A blown
fusible link should kill the entire electrical system.

I don't have a manual handy for a 4630, but there might be a relay and/or additional safety switches in the start circuit that
are likely the culprit. Check by the PTO handle to see if your machine has a switch in that location. If so, begin your
troubleshooting there. Also look near the shift cover for the neutral safety switch. Both would need to be closed in order to
crank.

I have 1 relay in my fuse box. I realize now that is to the starter. I am headed out this morning to check the neutral safety switch, PTO switch (if it has one) and then the relay. Surely one of those is the culprit. As a side note and maybe related, a couple of months ago I noticed my low oil pressure light would come on if the engine was revved very high. I put in a manual gauge temporarily and know for sure my oil pressure is great at idle and while revving high. Also changed the sending unit which didnt help the issue. Have you ever seen or heard of this?

I suspect that the air cleaner and oil light bulbs are swapped in the instrument cluster. That's a common mistake. If this is
what happened, the light coming on is because you have a plugged air filter, which will only show during high revs.

To verify, find the air cleaner restriction switch under the hood and short the two wires together. If only the oil light
comes on, you know it's in the wrong hole.

I had some starter activation problems with my 1992 model 5610. Found erratic relay that was laying behind the instrument panel above fuel tank. Traced the wiring and found path through PTO switch. I have not found this PTO switch shown on any of my factory diagrams. Looks like a safety feature so you can not start engine with PTO engaged
