Ford 4110 Transmission Plate Leak

My Ford 4110 has oil coming out the top of the transmission plate
cover where the dip stick goes in. It is not over filled and just started it
Seems to be worse when the weather is hot. Any idea what could be
forcing the oil up into the tube for the dip stick!
 

I see this mostly where the transmission is overfilled a bit,,,,, and/or where there is a lot of water contamination in the fluid, or a bit of both.

Is your fluid golden color or white? White means there is water in there, which again, is common.

Either way, it comes from fluid being slung around due to the gears spinning, and other than being a bit over full, or having a lot of water in it,,, is normal... to have the fluid going everywhere when running. Might check for the correct type of fluid but again, it will always be slung around. good luck..

Forgot to say, the cover gasket should be good and stop the fluid from coming out in most cases. And a oring, pushed up, on the dip stick might help it seal a bit better,, or not.
 
The fluid looks good in that it is clear and golden in color but I may go ahead and change it anyway to make sure. I store the tractor on the inside so it does not sit out in the weather. I appreciate your response!
