z134? torque spec of 4t? I guess I'm missing something. Ford's 134 engine used a pal nuts to lock the nuts in place. Torque nuts and pal nuts to specified torque, and all should be well.

The Z134 is probably the Continental Z134 used in the TO30 Fergies.

The Continental Z-134 engine is used in the Ferguson 35 and is not a direct swap for the Z-129 used in the TO30s - I'm deep into a Z-129 right now and the rod caps are held on with bolts - I'm guessing the Z-134 is similar - originally they had lock washers of the sort that have a tab that bends and then the washer part is bent against the flat of the bolt head after torquing -

they are still available, but pricy at $5+ each....

I did buy 8, after much discussion and search - the ones that are with the engine were misused and the tabs will not stand another bend -
