the hydrolics for the bucket in the way of cab maybe

sorry to be a pain in the a$$. on my 340 tractor there is a tube that runs from the lift frame to the back of the hydrolic valve. my guess it is a return.on some models i see that on the inside of the frame.. I'm going to be putting the cab on soon and wasn't sure this would be in the way. just wondering if any body might know. the cab came off a 4000. everything looks good to drop on but this area. my hydric lever is a single lever for raise and curl. thanks. sorry i don't have pictures

I think I would move the valve in lieu of cutting the cab to fit. If everything else is ok, I'd have a hydraulic hose made up for the steel lines, to give more flexibility in relocating the valve

my problem is that line that goes to the frame is a welded line/or return line. it is from the plate that the valve bolts to to the frame of the loader. isn't the frame of the loader the oil resivoir. its a molded line welded at both ends.i understand what u mean by moving it but idwould be a bigger job than it needs to be

it would be nice if it was threaded with JIC fittings.. but it is welded. i seen other pictures with that line on the inside..

Without seeing it in person, or at least some pictures, we can only ask questions and guess. I assume that the cab is from a 3 cylinder 4000? Is it a Ford factory cab from a 4000, or an aftermarket cab? Did the 4000 have a loader?

Besides the lines you're asking about, bear in mind that the 340 was the replacement for the 3400 and so it has the double sided steering with the radius rods and the 4000 has the single sided steering only on the left side and no radius rods, so if the cab goes down that far, the radius rods may be an issue as well.
