When it was sold and delivered to farm the owner passed away that night. It set for years in a barn and then sold. When I looked at it a few years ago the gas tank had never been drained. Old gas was gummed up and had bad smell. Still had a original Ferguson battery.

My 35 is serial# 145609 and has the higher dash and and original tack with the chrome bezel. Did you know Rob had passed away?. The last time we showed together was at Brookville In, I think was 2017. The first time I met Rob, Carl and Sam Neil was 2008 at Expo in Lanesville In. Last time I seen Carl or Sam was 2014 Massey Expo of North America here at Pioneers Engineers Club. Do you know anything on Carl or Paul Nelson? I got to meet John Farnsworth at the 2014 show.

Tom, how many bolts does your 56 TO35 have at the brake backing plate to axel trumpets and are the castings marked with MHF or HF? I have been trying to nail down the date they made the changes.
Here is a picture of mine and Rob's 35s, his Beige and Green, my green and gray 1955 his 59 red and flint and his 1956 green and gray from about 10yrs ago.

Hi Jim,

My castings are all MHF and I dont know about the bolt count. Right now about 18 of snow around her. A true grey and green paint job.

Thanks, when they changed from 6 to 12 studs and went from 1/2" to 7/16" studs is I think the time the changed from HF to MHF on castings. The 56 of Rob's was MHF on castings. Their are also differences in the chrome cover below the steering wheel, 3 different ones. My 35 and transport box.

Thanks. Ill try to have a look at the studs when some of the snow melts away. I have a transport box too, it came with a bunch of Ferguson stuff when I bought a tractor and all of the stuff that was there. Mostly Ferguson items. The box is on the short list of restoration projects, the little tailgate is missing and it had been cobbled to fit on the three point not just over the lift arms. But, still in decent enough shape to restore and use.

Thanks Jim, I will. The transport box was a cool find for me and it would be great to get it restored so I can use it rather than hooking up a wagon. Which, by the way, I found a Ferguson wagon frame with another tractor that I bought. There was no tag on the frame but it really resembled the SW-2W wagon and when I took measurements I found it was a correct frame, the axle had been moved back to prevent tipping perhaps. So that gp got rebuilt.
Email is open if you want to contact me with your pics.

(quoted from post at 14:08:45 02/23/21) That is kind of neat with only .07 on clock. I have a CD of it with a lot more pictures

Any way of getting copy of the photos on the CD? I've seen the pictures posted at the URL above, but more pictures would be nice too!
