Hi
I have a Ferguson post hole digger that I’ve converted from using on a TEA20 to fit onto a FE35.
Now the auger shaft seal is leaking.
Are the easy to get, take out and put back in.?

Most farm equipment use "off the shelf" parts. Sometimes getting them apart to replace things is challenging because they get dirty and rusty. Use your caliper to measure the outside of the seal and the shaft it has to fit on and it should be easy to find one. If you are real lucky, you might find a part number on the seal and be able to match it that way.

Very easy and straightforward , seals are readily available as well .

There is a flat on the small cross shaft shown that must be in the right position to be able to allow it to be removed from the box .

The hardest step is to remove the crown gear from the shaft , heat and a strong puller is needed .

I guess I am just lazy,I fill mine with oil and use it. Next year when I need it again I fill it with oil and use it.
