I have a TO-35.
Motor #Z134-400578 Manufactured March 24, 1955
per Montes Equipment

Motor plat has manufactured USA by Continental Motors
Muskegon, Michigan.

The Tractor plat by the steering : TO-35 #S146350
Color of Motor and Wheels : Gray
Color of Hood and Fenders: Red
What do I have?

Ok...so i have a 56? Red and Grey?

Also, i do not see the picture...how do i do that?
 
My picture is on my last reply. From 1954 to maybe mid 1956 were all Green and Gray, some 56s very few were Green and Beige some were Beige and Flint Gray besides the few that were the earlier in 56 Green and Gray. 1957s Red and Flint Gray like the MF 35s may have been a few early 57s using the Beige.
 
Mark, your tractor will also have 6 studs at the brake backing plates to axel housing and HF on castings in 1956 sometime they went to 12 smaller studs and MHF on castings. Ferguson Enthusiast of North America has a lot of useful info. I think they changed from the 2 buttons on the hood access panel to one knob sometime in the 170,000 range+.
 
my dad bought a new 55. in 69 he died. I was in the army and it was sold at auction and disappeared into history.
