Thank them while you can.

We are losing more and more of those who hold a wealth of knowledge about these old tractors. You better value the time you have with those who have seen and done everything there is to do to these great little machines. My go-to guy for questions here in southern Illinois passed away last night. Make sure they know we appreciate their advice and knowledge.

So sorry for your loss. I agree, we tend to take everything for granted. So to all who have helped me in the last year or three, a big THANK YOU for taking the time to share your knowledge and experience, and offer your help and guidance.

And I'm not done, yet - I'll be back for more :)

I live in so il. East of Marion.
My dad sold Farm equipment for over 50 years between c'mills and Hbg.
Who were you speaking of that passed?
Thanks
Jim

Retired Ag teacher from Rend Lake College, David Scott. Lived by me just north of Benton in little town of Whittington. Got me through an engine rebuild on a 30 and various other nuggets of info on a 35 I am rebuilding now. Great guy. I am guessing God needed some work done on his Fergie so he called David home.
