Tire Size

Has anyone put 12.4 rears on a Farmall Super A or B? I know that's bigger than factory. Would that look too big? Anyone done it and have a pic?

my Super A has 11.2's on the rear that my grandpa put on there many years ago for better traction for mowing on hillsides and they look pretty big. With the 11.2's you can't set the tires all the way in or they rub.

My BA has 12.4X24s on it. If you do not know what my BA is well it is the front of a B and the transmission back of an A. I have duals on the narrow side.

I have ran the 11.2 on the 8in rim set pretty well but a 12.4 should be on a 10in rim if you are using for
work they will look sort of out of place on the 8in rim.

If I can get it to load (My success rate is very low.) here is a picture of 12.4 on my 140. I don't remember rim size but they look good.

Got an S.A. with 12.4s. Works fine and has a little more ground speed. Used
formerly in tobacco and now in the garden. I have used them with 11.2s.
Not much difference to me.
