Tractor Novice IH 240 Utility Hydraulic Question

Hi, I recently acquired an International 240 Utility with 3-point fast hitch. I am an admitted novice when it comes to tractors and hydraulics so I have a couple of questions. First here are some photos of my tractor. (Please ignore the hydraulic fluid everywhere, I spilled some and haven't cleaned it yet.)

So what are those two plugs for that I have circled in the third photo?

Nice tractor, like to find one like that. looks like for an extra set of hyd. outlets. but would need the block to go with it.

that block hold a load check valving. it keeps the fasthitch in position so it doesnt creep down. there are 2 piston type valves in there behind those plugs.

Here are some additional photos. Can anyone describe what it would take to add a hydraulic top link? I have a reversible 3 point bucket and would like to adjust the angle of attack on the fly without manually adjusting a top link.

Thanks.

it looks like you have two ports just forward of the battery on the rt side of the tractor under the fuel tank. they have the rubber plugs on them. and the control for that should be the lever up on the right side of the steering wheel. just hook hoses up to those two ports and run them back to your top link cylinder. my 240 u does not have that extra valve.

another tidbit, on the left side of that valve under the gas tank, look above where the 3pt control linkage hooks to the valve. there should be a little lever, maybe an inch or so long, that will switch between one way hydraulics and two way hydraulics. you gotta hunt for it, its not real obvious.
