farmall 300 pto breather filler cap removal

manual says remove and install clockwise.....have spun clockwise and pulled up till im blue in the face.....any suggestions....what am i missin.......thanks dewy

Remove CCW grip the short tube to turn it, reinstall cw as before. Jim

Ones I have the cap is crimped all the way around. Cap may spin but the threaded part needs to turn to remove breather. Fill level plug is on the side. For cleaning a dirty one I remove the whole thing and put in carburetor cleaner.
