Spot in Cylinder Sleeve C113

While cleaning stuff up to replace a head gasket on a B, I noticed there was a very small gouge/nick in cylinder 4. It is smooth on the surface of the sleeve so the piston does not seem to be catching it and was free of rust. Do you guys I think I should replace this sleeve? Part of me keeps thinking this is something I probably don't want to leave in there, but thought I would check. It would be done in frame. I have never worked on an engine before.

What was the reason for replacing the head gasket?

I don't think sleeves are sold individually, only in sets of four with pistons and rings. Really you should not just be replacing one anyway. If you went back in with new sleeve, old piston and old rings it would never seal up, and you'd have a lot of blowby, and a weak cylinder.

That should not be a problem if the engine is in good shape overall. Two stroke engines have ports a lot wider than that with no problem of the rings catching. Bob
