Rise in Engine Oil?

Strange! I put a replacement Diesel 188 in my Case 580B a year ago. The machine sits for many months without running. When I do go to start the machine, I check all fluid levels. Funnythe last two times I checked the engine oil level, it rose from the running range to two to three inches above normalup the stick. In other words, oil is leaking into the engine sump as it sits. I am very curious as to where the added oil is coming from. I am not finding other fluid levels dropping. Perhaps hydraulic oil because that reservoir has no stick. ??? Any guesses? Thanks in advance. Doug

What the olgent said' When my 400 was doing the same, I boxed up the injector pump and sent it to our injector pump guy on this site. gobble

dont know what inj. pump it has ,.. but diesel leaking into the oil pan is 95 percent correct. roosa master pumps, same as ihc uses have
umbrella seals and are the most dependable but it happens.
