Does anybody know the gpm of the hydraulics for the
remotes? Cant seem to find a spec in the manual.
Thanks

I looked it up in a factory service manual for the models with live power. Wow, 15 GPM. 600 psi working pressure, 900psi relief valve. The hydraulics on my 51 SC is super fast and the hydraulic pump I got from a salvage yard and put on my 48 SC is real fast too. Now if they only had a little more pressure.

Thanks. Wow, didnt think they were that many gpms.
Been using the SC to power a hydraulic elevator for
firewood. That would explain why I couldnt run it much
over idle!

I know the SC will raise a wagon hoist as fast as the 1086 can do it only the 1086 can raise a fully loaded wagon where the SC cannot. The 1086 has a 15 gpm pump and 5 times more horsepower. The thing I do not like about the SC hydraulics is the pilot operated relief valve that dumps the full pressure when it pops off. I shimmed up the relief valve on one of my SCs and was rewarded with a broken pump, split it wide open, not good. Back to the salvage yard for another pump. I used to run the SC on the log splitter because of the fast cycle times but it didnt have enough oomph to split much of a log.

Also didnt realize the psi was that low! Of course it
doesnt take much to spin the elevator. Figuring on just
building a separate power unit with a Honda motor and
pump to run it. Hate idling the tractor for that many
hours.
