I Finally found a pic of the cab that we had on our 1967 1030 that was used for our farm and for dealership demo's, ours was a GP model not a Special like in the pic, but the cab is 100% the same,, it was a tinny one that we had to add cross bracing in to make it last,, this cab was the reason we went to Egging cabs, freight to us on cabs made in MN was three times the cost of a Egging to us and we felt the Eggings were a very well built cab, even though some today say they are "ugly" lol

Tom, we sold some Egging's, for the same reason, as they were close and a good price, but we also sold Cozy and were really pleased with that cab.
Nice to see that nearly new "1030"

Dan, Cozy made a great cab, we did sell a few for 430's to the school district and a 470, we had the lit on display for them, but when we priced the two they always went with Eggings so Dad pretty much stayed with them, you know how folks were then a hundred bucks made or broke a sale at times,, plus we could run down to Gurley NE on a Saturday and grab the cab and have it ready Monday morning where a Cozy took at least 10 days to get to us

My 1030 had the western fenders like those with a Ansel cab that sat on the fenders. Looked very similar to that cab. My Ansel was flambeau with a white top. Few years ago I replaced the Ansel with a Case factory cab which I like better.

Is the MN-made cab a Hiniker made in Mankato? There is also a company in Litchfield, MN who made cabs plus other stuff, but I've forgotten their name.

Oh yes, that kinda of money would make or break the cab deal at times. I guess its the same thing on Cozy, if we had too, we could run down too Litchfield Mn. pick one up with a pickup.

I sold this Cozy new above. Dad's salesman sold this "930" new

Custom is the company name now. When you drive buy you can see all color paints in the dumpster on the south side east of #22. They seem to do a lot of engineering for the CUT lines.

The year around cab, and wagons etc, was also made in Mankato. i believe. The Cabilliac cab was made in Fairmont, Minn.
