This popped up on FB for sale and I
made the mistake of saying it was too
bad I was broke because it was close
and I wanted one. Lol. Onve the guy saw
that he latched on to me and wouldn't
let go til I owned it. My boss even let
me use the company truck to get it
home.

The loader has been used hard and needs some attention. This in particular caught my eye. Lol

It runs good and everything works as it should except the com which needs some attention. I'm hoping it's just a valve issue, I know at least part of the problem is there.

It also came with a new seat and some paint which I haven't looked at yet. And these manuals came with as well.

So looks like another project do take care of before spring. But it will fit right in with the rest of the crew.

Always good to have 2 loaders, and you will have lots of work for it. Going to let you in on a secret thou, as now something is missing,,,, (shhhh,,, 930)

Jon, what a great find. The tractor will have a good home an well taken care of. I found the 770 on craigslist an it followed me home. Jerry from Ohio

Not the same tilt cylinder setup as mine, though, and AFAIK mine is all stock. Had to put new steel in the crossbar, though, it was only 1/8 thick and tore.

It looks like someone used a different cylinder on yours and had to extend those ears to make it work, maybe it's a little longer? I scanned the loader manual (parts) and made it a .pdf if you need it.

You can see my bucket is peeled back like a sardine can.

Here is the fix on my loader

Thanks! The cylinder is definitely not original. I'm not sure what I'll do with that yet.

First thing I'd do, Jon, is use it until it breaks. If it doesn't break, don't fix it. That may look like a set of monkey bars, but as long as the monkey isn't King Kong you might just be alright. If you do have to fix it I recommend replacing that center tube, as I said it's only 1/8" wall. I made the mistake of cutting mine out with a torch, the thing to do is cut it apart with abrasive wheels so you have a nice clean line to weld it back together with. IIRC those side plates are 3/8", when I welded the 1/4" thick square tube to it I needed about 190 amps to get it to sink in with 6013 rod. Then I chased it with 7018, it hasn't shown any cracks yet and I've been abusing it for a year now.

The tube has been replaced already and looks good. I'm sure I'll clean that mess up, but not right away. I have lots of more important projects to do before spring.
