Interesting Model VC Observation

Was perusing through the Model "V" parts book & saw the wide adjustable front end for the "V". It is the modern round pipe style. Looks like it would slip right under a 430. What I don't see is a wishbone, or support for it. Just the center pin. I have never seen an adjustable wide front on a "V", nor is there a picture of one in the book.

VC wide front from a parts book. I had a chance to buy a parts tractor with this front 5 yrs ago or so and passed and have never forgave myself for not buying it.

Did CASE pioneer that type of no wishbone front axle? The hi-crops starting with the 400 has it and many current production units have it, one being the Mc Cormick MX125 two wheel drive.
