Magneto coil or condenser?

My kids CA will run for a few minutes and die like it was shut off. Went through the usual, fuel flow out the tank, fuel flow out the carb, took the carb apart and cleaned it (which it didn't need), cleaned and set the points. Still after it gets to operating temp it dies. I have never had a condenser go bad but that is what it sounds like to me. I'm 2 hours away or I could just run over there and swap it out. The coil in the mag looks fairly new. Could it be the condenser? She has been running great for several years and this just out of the blue.

To me it sounds like the mag is worn out and
needs to be rebuilt or replaced. Before you
go that route it wouldn't hurt to swap out
the condenser just to rule that out as they
can cause the same problems when they go bad,
but they tend to also cause rough running and
hard starting when they go to pot.

Could be the coil or the condenser.. Since the coil looks newer i would change out the condenser
and see how that works.... If it still stalls, then change the coil.. I have had a couple of the
newer RED coils fail after several years... Condenser failures are a common problem.

(quoted from post at 06:16:57 06/06/23) Easy to test a condenser and a coil with a multimeter.

A multimeter can't determine if a condenser will break down from voltage in operation, or if a coil has a few ''shorted turns'' (which will greatly affect spark output) so it is all but worthless as to giving a definitive result as to if those components will actually work in the ignition circuit.

Thank you Wore out. My "formal" auto mechanic training was almost 50 years ago and trying to remember a way to test a condenser with a multimeter didn't result in anything. The boy ordered both a condenser and a coil. I'll let you guys know which it is.
