Going to look at D-12

I've never been around one of these.

All I know is the owner said one cylinder has antifreeze in it. What would be the most common issue given what little info I've given you? It does run and he said it doesn't have antifreeze in the oil.

Also I'm curious to know what one of these is worth in running in fair condition. From what I've read there were 3 updates of the years in production.

Thanks for any info and experiences you can provide!

Probably a head gasket, but you need to determine what vintage this rig is, because there are two different engines used. A picture and better yet a serial number of the chassis and serial number of the engine are needed.

I hate seeing people with tractor/machinery trouble and enjoy trying to help get them up and going again. Sadly, more and more of us are getting old and the repair knowledge is dying with us.

Just be sure you only look, and continue to look because there are some really nice ones out there for sale. Find one you can spend a little time driving around, that means an honest seller, they are out there. Good Luck and be patient.
