B and C transmission

Are the tranmissions the same and can they be interchanged ? My C has a very chipped 2nd gear and I have a chance to get a B parts tractor. Thanks in advance.

If I remember right they are not the same. The C has lower speed gears since it was a 2 row cultivator tractor and he B was a one row

They are exactly the same old! The speed difference is in the bull and axle gears in the final drive. The B came out with the faster axle speed with smaller tires. When the C came out they used larger tires and a slower axle speed.

Well at least I was right as for speed as for how yes I was not right but that is why I said it like I did.
