We would go to use my WD and would let it warm up and it would never get warm. So I went to put a new thermostat in it but there was no thermostat in it. My grandpa owned it before and he never took it out and was never in the shop. I can?t figure out how the thermostat goes in it?s in 3 peices.

That is just a bypass tube that they put on the WD45. If you don't have it, don't worry about it.
