Does anyone reproduce grills for a D17 or someone have a good 1 for sale? Thanks

Which one?? There were three designs over the 10 year span of the D-17. The original was just flat X mesh and orange. In 1959? they had three flat bars going across the same flat X mesh painted black . In late 1960 when the paint went from old Persian orange to new Persian orange, the grille got horizontal screening and was painted cream/white.

My serial # is 14829 but I wouldn't call the grill flat

By the term "flat" I mean the screen isn't the twisted diamond wire like on a WD45 grille. It is a flat screen. Your s/n would be the oldest design grille.
